| eBrains has the ‘Right Genes’ to Design Sites |
Salugen, an emerging biotechnology company based in San Diego, engaged eBrains to help create and launch three key websites in 2006. These included a corporate website (www.salugen.com), a product driven website (www.genotrim.com) and a hybrid site that would include a physical and virtual retail focus (www.spagen.com). Although each of these sites had distinct goals in terms of either driving more awareness, sales or providing customer and client service, all of them had to look like they were part of the Salugen 'family’ with visual continuity throughout.
Working collaboratively with the client, eBrains was able to effectively manage and coordinate an entire team of designers, copywriters, ‘coders’, strategists and partner companies to create correct messaging, easy to understand visual metaphors, and pertinent testimonials.
As Salugen CEO Brian Meshkin stated, “eBrains took the time to understand our vision and business needs and then provided us with the online tools we needed – a corporate site to help provide a high level of credibility for our company, a fully functioning product site that automatically handles the transactions we need to keep the company running, and a beautiful ‘concept’ site, Spagen, that we use as virtual collateral when selling new clients. I like the teamed approach they take when designing sites because it allows us the freedom of getting the site we truly want.”
